Müller Roland

Roland is an experienced lawyer and mediator, who especially enjoys the challenge of working with high-conflict personalities and assisting parties to resolve complex and unusual disputes. Roland’s experience in representing parties to a broad range of disputes in court and tribunal hearings informs and complements his work in mediation and dispute resolution. Roland adapts his approach to each mediation to the needs of the parties and works hard to ensure that each party is able to feel heard and understood, while always encouraging the parties to progress to a practical and realistic resolution of their dispute.

Roland holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Laws (Legal Practice, Skills & Ethics) from Monash University and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. He is a nationally accredited mediator (NMAS) and is accredited as a specialist in commercial litigation by the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV). He serves on the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria’s Single List of External Mediators. His professional memberships include the LIV, the Resolution Institute, both the Federal Litigation & Dispute Resolution Section and the Family Law Sections of the Law Council of Australia, the Australian Human Resources Institute, the Australian Information Security Association and the Royal Society of Victoria.
