Michael is a nationally accredited mediator (under AMDRAS) with a background as a legal practitioner. He has mostly worked in the interests of people who experience disadvantage in justice and regulatory systems and vulnerability in the face of disputes.
He has worked extensively in the area of health consumer protection and with medical and health professionals to maintain quality and standards of care. This extends from issues of clinical care to neglect and abuse as well as legal compliance. He has experience navigating the regulatory structures in health, welfare and justice sectors and dealing with the consumers, service providers and professionals in these areas with a forward looking focus.
